646 11th Avenue – New York, NY

In this impressive brick project that spans 11th floors, we built 30,000 SF of stone cycling brick imported from Holland. We also used Stone, Stucco, EIFS and 38,000 SF of CMU in our scope of work.
The dark upcycled Dutch-made bricks have numerous running bond patterns which surround the industrial-inspired rectangular windows. Some sections of the brick façade are subtly pushed back from the lot line, creating long horizontal shadows between each floor. There are 42 different brick shapes and sizes, each individually brushed by hand with a subtly reflective glass glaze before firing.

Hellenic Classical Charter School – Staten Island, NY

A new academic Greek School building in Staten Island, New York. All of us at JMD are very proud to have contributed to the build with 15,000 SF of brick, 1,500 SF of CMU, and 1,000 SF of Stucco and Precast Stone.

87-89 Grand Street – Brooklyn, NY

This kind of brick craft is few and far between in today’s masonry world and with the building at a radius, we used concealed lintels to tru-out the project. At the top of the building, we built a 5’ brick cornice on a curve with a concealed lintel system. We used 8,000 SF of red brick and 18,000 SF of CMU to complete this unique masterpiece.

Gantry Point– Long Island City, NY

This project required the renovation of an existing two-story building and construction of a new nine story building in LIC.
JMD are proud to have constructed 130,000 SF of 2” concrete topping slabs, concrete curbs, and concrete beams to support the existing floors. We also laid 11,000 SF of CMU and 6,000 SF of brick.

201 E 79th Street - New York, NY

Originally constructed in the early 1960’s with a classic white glazed brick façade, after a board review it was determined that the existing façade, bulkhead, and terraces required substantial renovations. As a result, JMD were hired to build 5,000 SF of Indiana limestone, waterproofing, sealant, and insulation, as well as 1,000 SF of CMU block.

CORTE - 21-30 44th Dr. - Long Island City, NY

JMD’s scope of work at the luxury residential CORTE location consisted of 16,000 SF of EIFS system at 3 of the façade elevations.

52 Wooster – SoHo, Manhattan, NY

A five story residential building in SoHo, JMD’s scope of work consisted of 1,500 SF of CMU, 15,000 SF of brick, 1,000 SF of Stucco and 1,000 SF of Precast Stone.
The penthouse of 52 Wooster building was featured in Ryan Serhant’s Signature Real Estate portfolio worth $14,000,000. – Watch the video here.

287/LES – New York, NY

JMD are proud to have completed a range of work for this residential building in the Lower East Side of Manhattan that is home to 28 units and was featured in the New York Times.
JMD are proud to have constructed 130,000 SF of 2” concrete topping slabs, concrete curbs, and concrete beams to support the existing floors. We also laid 11,000 SF of CMU and 6,000 SF of brick.

Parker West - 214 W 72nd Street – New York, NY

A tall residential building in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the 219-foot-tall structure will yield 18 full-floor homes. JMD’s scope of work consisted of 20,000 SF of CMU and 15,000 SF of Stucco and EIFS.

The Driggs Project – Brooklyn, NY

625 and 658 Driggs Avenue are Sister buildings located in Brooklyn, NY. JMD are proud to have completed 24,000 SF of CMU and 19,000 SF of brick work. The two residential buildings feature distinctive textured cladding and an industrial style that reflects the Williamsburg neighborhood.

497 Carroll Street – Brooklyn, NY

An Eight-story commercial real estate building, JMD scope of work consists of all four façades of Brick Veneer equal to 14,000 SF, as well as 3,000 SF of thin brick tabs system, and 6,000 SF of ground face CMU.

15th West 96th Street - New York, NY

JMD are completing 20,000 SF of limestone, 30,000 SF of CMU, and all Exterior Insulation and Finishing for this high-end condominium development in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
A new 22 floor, 26-unit towering over 300 feet tall markets floor to ceiling window wall and 2″ dimensional limestone façade with intricate cornice details. Completion is scheduled for 2023.

90Ninety – Jamaica, NY

JMD are completing 82,000 SF of CMU as well as 25,000 SF of brick and waterproofing for all 13 floors of both the North and South towers of the 90Ninety project.
The project cost of $235M will include 614 mixed income units of multi-material façade and balconies overlooking a landscaped courtyard with an array of park and recreation spaces, VRF’s heating/cooling and high-end finishes.
The project will feature not only housing but retail, parking, and an arts-based community facility and we are very excited to be completing the CMU, brickwork, and waterproofing for this build which is scheduled for completion in 2023.

360 Bowery – New York, NY

A commercial office development in NoHo, Manhattan, JMD are proud to be completing 30,000 SF of CMU as well as the Exterior Insulation and Finishing for this custom-build managed by CMA.
Featuring dark gray aluminum frames and blush-colored GFRC spandrel panels that get tighter as it moves up the building. Single-pane windows are inset within metal fins, the building’s corners are open and airy with a structural joint hidden behind the glass.
The terraces are also a defining feature of the tower. While the building’s massing was largely influenced by zoning restrictions, the tiered volumes create opportunities for ample outdoor amenity space with views north and east, looking out over the Bowery and onto one of New York City’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Completion is scheduled for late 2023.

East Harlem Tutorial Program – New York, NY

A 76,000 SF, $46M ground-up building for East Harlem Tutorial Program. The new building will serve as the high school, student body, and college access program.
JMD are completing 25,000 SF of NRG insulated CMU, 27,000 SF of EIFS, and 5,000 SF of stone. The building will feature a kitchen, cafeteria, science labs, competition-size basketball court, classrooms, and offices. Completion is scheduled for 2024.

Archer Towers – Queens, NY

One of the tallest residential structures in Jamaica, Queens, JMD is completing 25,000 SF of CMU and EIFS, as well as 16,000 SF of stone on this exciting new project.
A 24-story, full window wall, 605-unit building will have vertical stack heat pumps and energy efficient fixtures each unit will be outfitted with high-end finishes thanks to JMD. The 595,000 SF development is mixed-use with community and retail space, 30,000SF of Amenity Space and will provide 262 parking spaces. Completion is scheduled for Spring 2024.

249 East 62nd Street, New York, NY

A 28-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design and developed by Zeckendorf Development, the 347-foot-tall structure will yield 66 condominium units ranging in price from $1-5 million.

JMD’s scope of work consists of 58,000 SF of CMU and 4,000 SF of Stucco installation. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
